Breakfast: Honey Nut O's and soy milk

Workout: 0.5 mile warm up, a 2 mile loop around grounds, speeding up at certain intervals, and drills

Post-workout: Surprise! :) We didn't get lost! Thanks to new additions to our team, Megan and Mark! :) It was really fun speeding up, just to see what our bodies can do! Plus, the weather was superb today! Not too hot but not too cold...just perfect! :)

Breakfast: Honey Nut O's, soy milk

Workout: My good friend and I have decided to run to the Farmer's Market to compensate for the weight we're going to gain from all that good food! Hmm... 
I ran to GrandMarc to meet her. After that, we ran to the downtown Mall together. The heat and sun added intensity but it was all good when we smelled all that deliciousness!!!

Post workout: Um...a feast, of course!!!! We also got cupcakes after walking around the Downtown Mall...maybe all that workout was counter-productive. At least we ran! :P

Workout: Streak the lawn training...except not really! :P We ran up and down the lawn for 3 times. We went back to do core exercises.

Post-workout: Who knew that running on grass could be so much harder than running on cement? It was a really cool experience though! :)

3rd September, 2012 Cont'd

Pre-workout food: wild rice and butternut squash soup

Workout: My friends and I spontaneously and crazily decided to go to an AFC fitness class. We had no idea what it was. We thought, "probably some relaxing yoga." but were we in for a surprise! It was a solid hour of butt, thighs and core training. We were all sweaty and tired by the end. We did, however, feel GREAT about ourselves!!

Post-workout: Of course, a splurge on food! :D

Breakfast: Cornflakes, milk and a banana

Workout: Hahaha!!!! :D My partner, Megan and I got lost during the supposedly 1.5 mile run but it was really fun and funny because we just started running around, asking people for directions. We ended up running 2.4 miles! :D I loved the spontaneity of our run! We felt really bad that we made everyone worry. :(

I did drills for the first time in my life. Man, was it tiring! :D It felt really legitimate too. :P

Post-workout: I love running more than ever, now that there's a group to do it with. Running, it turns out, isn't just a serious task, it could be fun and we could have good laugh!!! :D

Workout: 2.5 miles around grounds

Post-workout: At first I still felt a bit sleepy but after the 0.5 mile run, I was completely awake. I have never really run with a partner for a long distance before. It was really rewarding and encouraging!

First Running Class

Breakfast: cornflakes, pine nuts, almond milk and clementine

Workout: two 3 minutes 44 seconds loops around the Snyder Tennis Courts. 

Post-workout: I rarely run for speed. When we did it today, I got tired very easily but it felt great! :)
